ZACH JAKUBOWSKY
STAFF BIO
Zach grew up in Farmington playing baseball and basketball in high school. He was 4-year starting pitcher and outfielder for his high school team, earning 4 letters in the process. He won all conference as a pitcher in 2019 and finished his senior season by having the 4th most single season strikeouts, 6th most single season wins, and top-ten single season innings pitched in his high school’s history. Zach spent his travel baseball days playing for HTP Sports academy where he won numerous awards including the 2018 Raptor of the Year and 2018 Elite Fall League MVPitcher. Zach committed to play D2 baseball at the University of Sioux Falls after high school.
Zach’s coaching experience started when he was 16. During the summers of high school, he was a team leader and youth camp station leader with the Minnesota Twins. He took pride in keeping an energetic atmosphere while training, as well as keeping integrity to the game of baseball. Zach began coaching with NorthStar in the summer of 2020 and has proven himself to be a key piece to Northstar’s growth as a club. Zach has coached all ages whether that be team training or in a small group setting and will focus on developing our youth ages.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons consist of direct 1-on-1 training with the ability to dive deeper into more nuanced developmental content while still allowing for more time with the developmental training tools (HitTrax and Rapsodo) as well as further instruction/analysis.
